Responsibilities
- Conduct business discovery workshops and translate strategic objectives into Celonis use cases, project scope, data requirements, and success criteria.
- Configure data connectivity and extraction pipelines, coordinating with specialist resources when needed.
- Direct Apollo and other AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, dashboards, operational solutions, and AI-powered insights.
- Build and configure Celonis platform solutions, including the Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, process analysis, and operational solutions.
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, business relevance, customer context, maintainability, scalability, and usability.
- Identify process inefficiencies and root causes, lead value creation workshops, and define KPIs to quantify customer impact.
- Design solutions that improve process conformance, adoption, and long-term value realization.
- Train and demonstrate solutions to customer users, enable independent usage, and support rollout and handover.
- Manage project outcomes against timelines, scope, and customer expectations, and document solution designs and configurations.
- Develop domain or industry expertise, create reusable solution patterns and reference architectures, and identify high-value use cases for standardization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in management or IT consulting, data or solution consulting, or process improvement consulting; Senior Deployment Engineer roles require 6+ years and demonstrated project leadership.
- Ability to build and configure Celonis solutions involving data modeling, process analysis, KPI definition, and automation.
- Proficiency in PQL, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, with the ability to specify, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
- Prompt engineering or context engineering experience is a strong plus.
- Strong enterprise business process and financial metrics expertise, with knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Inventory Management, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Accounts Payable considered a plus.
- Ability to lead customer workshops, present findings to management, manage stakeholders, and work with technical and business audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, value quantification, learning agility, and ability to work through ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% based on customer requirements and project phases.
