Responsibilities
- Define responsible AI standards, guardrails, and governance with Architecture, Security, and Legal.
- Establish training, playbook, community-of-practice, and use-case-factory programs to pilot and scale AI adoption.
- Embed AI across the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, code review, documentation, incident triage, analytics, and operations.
- Provision and standardize AI tooling, prompt guidelines, evaluation harnesses, and development workflow integrations.
- Build reusable templates, pipelines, prompt libraries, and MLOps foundations for repeatable AI patterns.
- Define and track KPIs and OKRs for velocity, quality, MTTR, risk, cost, adoption, and ROI.
- Lead change management, stakeholder communications, training, coaching, and champion networks.
- Present strategy, plans, risks, and outcomes to leadership and run steering cadences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in software delivery, including at least 3 years leading AI enablement or transformation at scale across 100 or more engineers.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, and applying LLMs or NLP to software development lifecycle workflows.
- Strong foundations in DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing automation, and observability, with familiarity with MLOps and evaluation practices.
- Experience creating training programs, playbooks, champion networks, and measurable adoption or ROI programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience defining responsible AI guardrails covering security, privacy, intellectual property, and compliance.
- Familiarity with machine learning is an advantage.
