Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Lead IT transformation initiatives and standardize DevOps practices across global teams.
- Create infrastructure roadmaps supporting high availability and low latency worldwide.
- Provide expert DevOps strategy guidance, workshops, and training.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and services, troubleshoot issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with architecture, application development, testing, leadership, and operations stakeholders.
- Mentor DevOps engineers, support team productivity, and follow up on blockers and delivery.
- Recommend security, cost, performance, and innovation improvements for insurance technology environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, including two years in a lead role.
- Proficiency with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
- Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including AWS RDS, EKS, and ElastiCache.
- Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience leading transformation and global standardization projects and providing strategic DevOps advice.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, incident management, and resolution skills.
- Familiarity with security best practices, robust security controls, and Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Experience with one or more of Apigee, Akamai, and ServiceNow.
- Leadership and mentoring skills are optional.
- Experience integrating AI algorithms and models is valued.
