Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines across backend services and mobile applications.
- Operate and evolve Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Own platform monitoring and observability while resolving reliability, performance, availability, and incident-response issues.
- Build security and compliance into pipelines and infrastructure, including vulnerability triage and remediation, secure defaults, and least-privilege access.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and troubleshoot development, testing, and production issues.
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve automation, code and security reviews, and troubleshooting across DevOps workflows.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong Linux systems fundamentals and hands-on Kubernetes experience, including orchestration, troubleshooting, and day-2 operations.
- Proven experience as a DevOps, Platform, or SRE engineer with strong CI/CD, GitOps, and Git fundamentals.
- Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS preferred, or Azure or GCP, plus infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with DevSecOps, vulnerability triage, remediation, monitoring, observability, reliability, and incident response.
- Comfort using AI-assisted tools in daily engineering work; machine learning or model-building experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
