Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end DevOps strategy, governance model, and tooling standards across the program.
- Define CI/CD, GitOps, quality gate, deployment, release, rollback, and environment lifecycle standards.
- Own observability, alerting, capacity planning, infrastructure cost monitoring, KPI dashboards, and SLA reporting.
- Lead end-to-end production incident management, including triage, escalation, cross-team coordination, and post-mortems.
- Own disaster recovery strategy, RTO/RPO targets, testing cadence, and execution across program layers.
- Manage DevOps security and risk controls, including threat modeling, access lifecycle governance, and compliance evidence.
- Coordinate distributed engineering teams and drive adoption of AI-assisted DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including at least 3 years leading DevOps strategy and governance across multiple teams.
- Experience owning production incident management and disaster recovery for regulated or high-availability distributed systems.
- Demonstrated cross-team leadership and stakeholder coordination without full formal authority across distributed, multinational teams.
- Hands-on experience with observability, dashboards, alerting, SLOs, capacity planning, FinOps, and cloud cost optimization.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, environment strategy, provisioning, environment parity, and lifecycle management.
- Experience standardizing CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability tooling across teams with different technical stacks.
- Hands-on background with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP and Terraform or an equivalent Infrastructure as Code tool.
- Working knowledge of DevOps security governance, threat modeling, access lifecycle management, control compliance, and secure pipeline practices.
- Experience defining release management standards, deployment windows, rollback strategies, and deployment checks.
- Full professional proficiency in English and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Active use of AI-assisted engineering tools, with concrete examples of driving adoption across teams.
