Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies and methodologies.
- Build and scale test infrastructure for automated execution, regression detection, fuzzing, and related testing needs.
- Build tools and frameworks to find bugs in complex distributed systems.
- Build static and dynamic analyzers, including tools for concurrency bugs.
- Perform at-scale cloud benchmarking and parallelized automated microbenchmarks.
- Prioritize and execute test suites representative of customer workloads.
- Develop testing capabilities for mixed-version systems, failure injection, flaky-test detection, and quarantining.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer writing clean, idiomatic code.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with GCP or AWS.
- Experience in database or distributed-systems testing, static code analysis, or failure-mode analysis.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
