Responsibilities
- Design and build MAC firmware for multi-band and multi-link wireless systems.
- Define and implement link-layer protocol behavior, including transport, retransmission, and host interfaces.
- Integrate MAC–PHY control for sequencing, timing, and per-packet behavior.
- Write real-time, RTOS-based firmware on embedded processors.
- Develop and debug functionality involving DMA, interrupts, timers, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Debug across firmware, hardware, and RF.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of embedded firmware experience with solid wireless or connectivity experience.
- Hands-on wireless PHY-MAC and link-layer development experience.
- Strong embedded C skills and real RTOS experience, such as FreeRTOS.
- Experience with interrupts, DMA, timers, and UART, SPI, and I2C bring-up and debugging.
- Practical understanding of wireless timing, scheduling, retransmission, and multi-client systems.
