Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction, execution, and end-to-end delivery across multiple teams and large engineering projects.
- Develop and maintain Windows endpoint solutions, with hands-on programming and support for difficult or error-prone implementation areas.
- Review and approve high-level designs, coding standards, pull-request standards, architecture alignment, and engineering quality practices.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude across coding, debugging, testing, and documentation, and help teams adopt effective AI-assisted workflows.
- Drive department-level improvement initiatives, cross-team coordination, reusable design patterns, test automation, and maintainable coding practices.
- Mentor developers and technical leaders through pairing, code examples, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical one-on-ones.
- Participate in incident post-mortems and guide teams on service quality, operations, and incident response.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Windows internals; low-level and kernel development experience is preferred.
- Experience in cybersecurity environments, particularly Endpoint Detection and Response or Managed Detection and Response solutions, is highly desired.
- Deep experience with multiple full-stack development frameworks and the ability to learn new frameworks and practices independently.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools to improve software engineering workflows and outcomes; experience training or enabling team members is desired.
- Expertise in software development best practices, architecture, coding standards, unit testing, and test automation.
- Experience working across multiple software development teams and influencing technical direction, standards, and cross-team initiatives.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, solve complex technical problems, mentor technical leaders, and own large systems or domains.
