Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operational support of the production RF Shaper & Coverage Analysis Platform.
- Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and reliability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and operational dashboards.
- Manage incidents, problems, root-cause investigations, service restoration, and production support coordination.
- Ensure platform SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs are achieved.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while optimizing throughput, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Perform capacity planning, trend analysis, and performance tuning across AWS services and application components.
- Execute production deployments, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, including blue/green deployment strategies and automated releases.
- Validate releases through smoke testing and post-deployment monitoring.
- Improve logging, tracing, auditing, operational runbooks, support documentation, and recovery procedures.
- Manage backup, recovery, and restoration processes and test disaster recovery readiness across AWS regions and availability zones.
- Drive continuous service improvement using operational metrics and trend analysis.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience operating and supporting enterprise-scale AWS cloud environments.
- Experience operating AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon Fargate, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL/RDS, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS ElastiCache for Redis, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon SageMaker, AWS Step Functions, AWS IAM, and Apache Airflow.
- Strong experience supporting data analytics workloads and orchestration processes for large-volume data ingestion, enrichment, aggregation, and schema validation.
- Experience supporting highly available cloud services in 24x7 production environments.
- Understanding of observability tooling, distributed tracing, and proactive monitoring.
- GitOps experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, Harbor, and Nexus.
- Strong understanding of networking, VPCs, load balancing, DNS, and security controls.
- Experience with Linux administration and containerized platforms.
- Ability to support geospatial transformation and RF engineering platform workloads.
