Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using general domain knowledge and specialized business experience.
- Build and maintain software across front-end user interfaces and backend application layers.
- Analyze user requirements and needs and make development decisions within defined parameters.
- Support and sometimes lead limited-complexity projects, including development of medium-sized system components.
- Review functional specifications and validation deliverables.
- Maintain strong quality standards and produce work requiring minimal revision.
- Provide peer support and help onboard new Software Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of prior related experience developing web applications, graduate experience, or demonstrated success developing with DrugDev Spark or an equivalent system.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, React, Ember, or a similar web framework.
- Ability to write clean code and design small to medium system components.
- Strong technical and functional expertise, communication, presentation, decision-making, customer-focus, conflict-management, attention-to-detail, motivation, and work-rate skills.
