Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant full-stack applications using React and Node.js, Java, or Go.
- Design and implement distributed architectures using AWS services, relational and NoSQL databases, and messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Build automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Build production-grade AI applications and developer tools using LLMs, AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI agent workflows.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into products and internal platforms with attention to scalability, observability, security, and reliability.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows for large datasets, including analytical systems using Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or ClickHouse.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems for speed, scalability, and uptime.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, mentor junior engineers, and join the production on-call rotation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, velocity, and code quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in React and at least one of Node.js, Java, or Go.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for compute, storage, and data processing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems for distributed data processing.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications or AI-powered developer or customer tools.
- Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals including LLMs, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
- Understanding of data engineering workflows and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with automation, testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
