Responsibilities
- Partner with Support, Customer Success, and Solutions teams to identify recurring customer issues and design end-to-end multi-agent workflows.
- Build and iterate on agent architectures involving context retrieval, tool invocation, decision logic, and actions across internal systems.
- Debug agent failures by tracing resolutions to their underlying data, prompts, or tool calls.
- Instrument agent performance and iterate based on accuracy, resolution-rate, and escalation-rate outcomes.
- Own team-level technical solutions end-to-end and translate field patterns into product and roadmap input.
- Write code reviews, improve monitoring and observability, define testing processes for non-deterministic agent behavior, and scope technical solutions into stories.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building or integrating agentic/LLM systems, including context feeding, prompt engineering, tool invocation, and stateful agents.
- Ability to debug distributed, non-deterministic, agent-driven workflows and make tradeoffs involving latency, accuracy, autonomy, and human-in-the-loop processes.
- Ability to independently scope technical solutions, communicate complexity to engineers and support operators, and work with a security lens around agent write access.
- Prior forward-deployed, field engineering, or support engineering experience is preferred.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and stream processing such as Kafka or PubSub is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability tooling for agent/LLM systems is preferred.
