Responsibilities
- Develop backend microservices using Java and Spring.
- Build scalable, reliable software and platforms supporting Goldman Sachs businesses and financial transactions.
- Work with MongoDB and distributed services.
- Collaborate with trading, sales, asset management, banking, finance, and global engineering teams.
- Contribute to testing, system monitoring, reporting, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Work with UI/UX designers, data scientists, cloud engineers, and other partners to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
- Experience with microservices, Java deployments, and DevOps tools such as GitLab.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
- Strong communication, documentation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with global teams and the ability to drive goals and milestones while maintaining attention to detail.
