Responsibilities
- Design, extend, and optimize large-scale, highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems processing graph datasets and billions of real-time events.
- Architect and implement security products that protect customer data.
- Analyze and resolve scaling, performance, and distributed-systems challenges.
- Build secure-by-design software that processes untrusted data and communicates with hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
- Develop backend services using Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, and Etcd.
- Build API-level connectors integrating with enterprise SaaS applications when applicable.
- Collaborate frequently with distributed teams and incorporate direct customer feedback.
Requirements
- Strong track record building and significantly extending large-scale backends used in production.
- Experience developing large applications in Go.
- Experience using databases at very large scale; knowledge of GCP services is a plus.
- Experience profiling and optimizing distributed code using large databases and streaming platforms.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset and ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
