Base Salary
$125k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python solutions using AWS cloud computing capabilities.
- Develop and iterate on AI and LLM-based workflows for customer outcomes.
- Build proofs of concept, prototypes, data-analysis solutions, and production systems.
- Design and document complex system architectures and evolve solutions toward scalable production quality.
- Develop containerized applications and maintain scalable backend systems.
- Apply security best practices and support information-security compliance.
- Participate in peer code reviews and create and execute manual and automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and remote engineering teams and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Independently identify and solve problems while sharing knowledge across the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 5+ years in backend development; comparable experience may substitute for the degree.
- 5+ years of experience writing production-level Python APIs and applications.
- 2 years of experience developing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or other LLM frameworks.
- Practical experience designing, deploying, and tuning production systems using AWS.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, asynchronous tasks, ORMs, task queues, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience tuning and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
- Proficiency with unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Experience with architectural design and documentation of complex systems.
- Preferred qualifications include platform engineering or ML Ops experience, evolving proofs of concept into scalable production solutions, and AWS certification.
- Must be eligible to obtain a clearance.
