Responsibilities
- Own work across the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle using Agile or traditional methodologies.
- Design, develop, test, and support Java backend applications and their development infrastructure.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and design application or supporting-infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams on application and infrastructure changes.
- Automate testing and deployment processes to improve speed and quality.
- Engineer services to meet corporate resilience and information-security standards.
- Configure and deploy applications using Ansible.
- Support occasional out-of-hours releases or incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of similar experience.
- Experience designing and developing Java-based backend services with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Ability to engineer resilient, information-security-conscious services meeting corporate standards.
- Experience using Ansible for application configuration and deployment.
- Linux skills for software management and debugging.
- Experience engineering CI/CD pipelines for testing or deployment.
- Preferred experience with React, React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Cypress, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS services, Artifactory, code and dependency scanning, container scanning, and static analysis.
- Preferred experience defining Terraform infrastructure for AWS and executing it through CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI tools to improve development productivity is helpful.
