Responsibilities
- Define and evolve target software and solution architectures aligned with business goals and existing systems.
- Design and guide scalable, secure, reliable cloud and IT architectures.
- Translate business and product requirements into architectural solutions while bridging stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Design and govern microservices architectures for scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with client architects and teams on architectural standards and decisions.
- Maintain architectural documentation, including design decisions and system landscapes.
- Establish best practices for architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Around 10 years of software engineering experience focused on architecture and system design.
- Proven expertise in software, cloud, IT system, microservices, and solution architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems design principles.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, build and automation tools such as Maven, and databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with testing strategies and automation.
- Strong English and German communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex architectural challenges.
