Responsibilities
- Define and evolve target software and solution architectures in alignment with business goals and existing systems.
- Design and guide cloud architecture, IT system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.
- Translate requirements between business stakeholders, Product Owners, client architects, and development teams.
- Document architectural decisions and system landscapes.
- Establish and govern best practices for architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Guide complex system integrations and architectural standards in a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Around 10 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on architecture and system design.
- Proven expertise in software, cloud, IT system, microservices, and solution architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed-systems design principles.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and build or automation tools such as Maven.
- Solid experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with testing strategies and automation.
- Strong English and German communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex architectural challenges efficiently.
