Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain desktop applications using C#, .NET, and WPF with a focus on stability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Establish technical standards and foundations for the growing .NET application portfolio.
- Process and transform financial and accounting data from banks, e-commerce platforms, payment providers, and payroll systems.
- Design and integrate components that enable communication and data exchange between systems and applications.
- Use XML, JSON, PowerShell, asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and external services in application development and integrations.
- Write efficient, structured, testable code and apply unit testing practices.
- Analyze technical issues, troubleshoot complex application behavior, and propose sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, decision-making, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
- Work with Agile teams to deliver incremental software improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience focused on C# and .NET.
- Strong hands-on experience with WPF and desktop application development.
- Experience with PowerShell, XML, JSON, .NET Framework, modern .NET/.NET Core, async/await, RESTful APIs, external services, integrations, and unit testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and produce clean, maintainable, reliable technical solutions.
- Experience collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and clients in Agile environments.
- Ability to perform code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, document systems, and share knowledge.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles for desktop applications is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills and German proficiency at least at B2 level are required.
