Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and execution for Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS transformational implementation projects.
  • Design, develop, unit test, validate, and support WMS modifications and production issues.
  • Define business-process workflows and lead specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens.
  • Assess integration complexity and facilitate product architecture and data/process-flow discussions.
  • Lead project teams in preparing product requirement specifications and modification test plans.
  • Coordinate with Development Services on modification development, quality delivery, and customer demonstrations.
  • Support test-script development and execution, go-live activities, level-three user support, and data-integrity verification.
  • Advise customers on industry best practices, process methodology, system architecture, and WMS integrations.
  • Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, customer contacts, users, and executive sponsors.
  • Contribute to change-management efforts, technical consulting practice aids, and best-practice collateral.

Requirements

  • 12–16 years of corporate experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Expertise in technical WMS configuration, solution integration, quality assurance, system testing, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS configuration, Jasper Reports, NiceLabel, PageBuilder, and MOCA.
  • Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/host systems, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems.
  • Knowledge of integrations with voice, material-handling, and ASRS systems.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, and applications.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance and work independently.
  • Strong customer relationship, communication, presentation, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of Azure fundamentals, database structures, technical platforms, infrastructures, and Blue Yonder product-suite relationships.
  • Understanding of technical requirements for the assigned product line and ability to guide Support Services on technical issues.
  • Ability to comply with company project methodology and travel-and-expense procedures; travel readiness is required based on business needs.
