Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems in APL and contribute to the modernization of the Private Debt solution.
- Support C#/.NET architecture, platform integration, cloud enablement, and development of new components.
- Guide engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and team delivery practices.
- Partner with Product and engineering teams to deliver maintainable, reliable functionality for clients.
- Drive code quality through unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Use Git-based workflows and collaborate with cross-located teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, object-oriented design, architecture patterns, clean code, and backend systems.
- Experience building APIs, services, and integrations, with familiarity with REST or streaming patterns and messaging concepts.
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and code review practices.
- Strong problem-solving, independent working, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Willingness and curiosity to learn APL; prior APL experience is not required.
- FinTech or regulated-industry experience and exposure to vector-based or functional languages are preferred.
