Responsibilities

Design and maintain Python automated tests for backend services, APIs, and network or infrastructure-oriented systems.
Develop and maintain Python-based automation test frameworks.
Perform API testing, including REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON validation.
Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.
Use Behave or similar behavior-driven development frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
Partner with Engineering and Quality Engineering teams on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.
Research, analyze, document, and debug findings.

At least two years of hands-on Python programming experience for test automation.
At least two years of relevant test automation experience.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Python.
Hands-on experience with API testing, REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON validation.
Experience with Behave or a similar behavior-driven development framework.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, and client-server communication.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
