Responsibilities
- Collaborate with memory design teams to solve current simulation and verification challenges and develop scalable future solutions.
- Identify improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions for design verification and simulation flows.
- Develop highly scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve software and CAD flows.
- Work with EDA vendors to evaluate and integrate EDA tools into CAD flows.
- Lead AI-assisted, agentic, copilot-based, and rule-aware automation workflows for circuit simulation and verification.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with analog circuit simulation flows and expert-level circuit simulation debugging.
- Knowledge of leading-edge circuit design and simulation methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with at least one circuit simulator, such as Finesim, PrimeSim, XA, Spectre, VCS, or Xcelium.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Custom IC Virtuoso, Virtuoso-L, Virtuoso-XL, schematic capture, Synopsys Custom Compiler, or an equivalent platform.
- Preferred experience developing and deploying AI-enabled methodologies for circuit simulation flows.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Python or Perl object-oriented programming.
- Preferred knowledge of CMOS concepts, electronic fundamentals, Linux, LSF, shell scripting, TCL scripting, and SKILL.
- Knowledge of parasitic extraction tools such as StarRC or Quantus is advantageous.
- Experience with EM/IR and static timing analysis is advantageous.
- AI/ML experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.
