Base Salary

$170k - $221k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote triage to identify software root causes using log parsing and telemetry data.
  • Classify complex failures as software, firmware, or system-level regressions.
  • Effectively disposition issues to the software organization with detailed tickets.
  • Manage and prioritize escalated software-related investigations.
  • Lead investigations into novel failures using log review and telemetry analysis.
  • Develop scripts and tools for data visualization and failure trend analysis.
  • Create and maintain RCA reports and troubleshooting guides.
  • Promote a culture of documentation and data-driven problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Systems Integration or R&D focused on software for complex mechatronic systems.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms like Datadog or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage and databases such as AWS S3 or SQL.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguous software-hardware intersections.
  • Experience creating technical documentation for software engineering.
  • Preferred: Experience with HW/SW integration and design on HiL.
  • Mastery of log parsing and proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of software stacks in robotics and communication protocols.
