Responsibilities
- Design and implement Kotlin/Java Android applications and frameworks for vehicle infotainment.
- Build apps, frameworks, and SDKs supporting navigation, EV charging, media, HVAC, cameras, voice, connectivity, and vehicle controls.
- Deliver features using test-driven development.
- Collaborate with UX, product, instrument cluster, and mobile teams on end-to-end quality.
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and team best practices.
- Attend the Fremont office 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally for company events.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field.
- 10+ years of Android app development experience.
- Expertise in Android OS, AOSP/AAOS, Kotlin/Java, and embedded app design.
- Ability to solve problems pragmatically and drive high-quality solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on quality and impact.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
