Responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, well-tested code.
- Deploy microservices using Terraform, infrastructure-as-code technologies, and delivery automation.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs in a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture.
- Work on distributed systems supporting high-traffic workloads.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders across time zones.
- Contribute to scalable e-commerce technology and customer experiences.
Requirements
- Fluent written and verbal English for presenting solutions and collaborating across time zones.
- Proficiency in backend development, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and building highly scalable applications and microservices.
- Understanding of unit testing and related testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile and lean software engineering.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, clean code, design patterns, and testing.
- Awareness of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- PHP experience or willingness to work with PHP is a plus.
- Exposure to high-traffic scalable solutions and modern DevOps practices such as QA automation, monitoring, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD is advantageous.
