Responsibilities
- Develop, design, implement, and deliver Java applications and software systems for document management products.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for leadership and represent the team and product in technical expert forums.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture designs, requirements clarification, prioritization, and effort estimation.
- Lead code and implementation reviews, mentor developers, and promote consistent, high-quality engineering practices.
- Implement complex and critical product features and participate in production support and improvement activities.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to development and implementation practices.
- Use generative artificial intelligence technologies throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 8 years of software design and development experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum software engineering environments.
- Strong communication, organizational, autonomy, and technical requirement analysis skills.
- Ability to lead effectively while managing multiple responsibilities and mentoring technical team members.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience is required.
