Responsibilities
- Make architecture-level and code-level technical decisions and provide feedback and guidance to engineers.
- Drive technical initiatives and oversee system development, maintenance, and operations.
- Understand and maintain existing systems with team members, then lead future system replacement, renewal, or version upgrades.
- Plan tasks, manage schedules, coordinate with other teams, and lead development and operations using clear documentation and development processes.
- Work with project managers to deliver development within quality, deadline, budget, and scope requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, business teams, and external vendors to build FinTech systems.
- Lead a multinational development team in the future.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience covering design, release, and operations.
- Ownership of a service or system and experience maintaining the same service or system for more than 3 years.
- Experience leading a team through system renewal or version upgrades.
- Extensive ability in task planning, schedule management, and cross-team coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of RDBMS, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and high availability implementation and maintenance.
- Practical experience designing and developing scalable web applications.
- Experience developing web systems with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with performance testing and application optimization.
- Experience leading a development team as a tech lead.
