Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable backend and frontend software applications.
- Participate in design reviews and architectural design for scalable, reliable, and maintainable features and systems.
- Review peer code and uphold technical standards, coding guidelines, observability, and unit testing practices.
- Build testable software and automate tests using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Triage and resolve defects and customer-reported issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Monitor service health, identify and escalate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Own software delivery from product requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance.
- Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship successful software products and services.
