Staff Software Engineer - Data Delivery

Responsibilities
- Act as a project and domain DRI for measurement and planning initiatives within Data Delivery.
- Translate product requirements into technical requirements and clarify feasibility and trade-offs.
- Keep complex initiatives moving by unblocking decisions and coordinating across teams.
- Build reliable systems that process and serve large volumes of campaign and marketing data.
- Power reporting, measurement, planning, billing, pacing, exports, APIs, and analytics.
- Make thoughtful technical decisions balancing correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to create strong technical solutions.
- Improve monitoring, testing, data quality, incident response, and documentation.
- Support engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Strong experience building scalable services, distributed systems, or data-intensive applications.
- Experience leading complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong judgment across APIs, data pipelines, databases, and distributed systems.
- Ability to reason about data correctness, freshness, and customer trust.
- Interest in building systems for customer-facing reporting and analytics.
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and align stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar of a team.
- Strong programming skills; experience with Golang and technologies like Kafka and Redshift is a plus.
- Experience in adtech, marketing technology, or high-volume event processing is a plus.
