Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute Terraform Infrastructure as Code for applications.
- Implement and configure cloud services and develop software solutions.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues using scripts, SQL queries, application tracing, and stack-trace analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, quality engineers, application testers, cloud teams, deployment teams, DevOps teams, and vendors.
- Develop automated unit tests and support integration, functional, test-driven, and behavior-driven testing.
- Set up continuous integration, build automation, release automation, and application deployments across environments.
- Support production issues and participate in an after-hours duty rotation.
- Provide sprint estimates and contribute to Agile technical practices such as pair programming and refactoring.
Requirements
- Relevant software development certification, such as AWS Certified Developer, or an equivalent certification.
- Software development or cloud development skills in Java, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of automated software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and functional testing, TDD, and BDD.
- Familiarity with application tracing or observability tools such as OpenTelemetry.
- Experience creating packaging and build scripts with Maven and Docker.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces.
- Experience completing projects using Agile methodology.
- Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst certification is advantageous.
- Experience implementing highly available, high-performance, and high-security systems across data centers or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous.
