Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead applications development, systems analysis, programming, and application enhancement activities.
- Partner with management and technology teams to integrate functions, deploy new products, and deliver process improvements.
- Analyze complex business and system processes, resolve high-impact problems, and develop innovative solutions.
- Apply advanced programming knowledge to application design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Develop and maintain expertise in how architecture and infrastructure integrate to support business goals.
- Serve as an applications development subject matter expert and advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
- Allocate work, mentor and coach team members, collaborate across teams, and support project management.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in applications development or systems analysis, with extensive programming experience and successful project management experience.
- Advanced experience with Java, including functional programming, Spring Boot libraries, and reactive frameworks.
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Spring WebFlux, Kubernetes, Docker, and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of microservices design and development, load balancing, caching, database optimization, parallel processing, and concurrency.
- Experience with test-driven development and behavior-driven development.
- Demonstrated applications development subject matter expertise, leadership, project management, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to communicate clearly, adjust priorities quickly, work collaboratively, and continue learning.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Cloud technology and Java certifications are highly preferred.
