Responsibilities
- Develop Core Java applications and high-throughput, low-latency transactional services.
- Build and maintain backend systems and APIs supporting large-scale travel search and partner data.
- Contribute to React/JavaScript user-facing features and connect them with GraphQL APIs.
- Write SQL queries for real-time application investigation and analysis.
- Work with real-time and batch-processing data solutions and NoSQL stores.
- Participate in cross-functional Agile projects, product planning, experimentation, continuous integration, and automation testing.
- Understand the codebase, systems, and business requirements to implement effective application changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience with Core Java.
- Experience with Spring Frameworks, web services, and APIs.
- At least 1 year of experience with React/JavaScript and basic familiarity with or willingness to learn GraphQL.
- Strong SQL composition and analysis skills.
- Deep understanding of modern real-time and batch-processing big data solutions such as Spark, Kafka, KSQL, Flink, and Apache Beam.
- Experience developing applications with NoSQL stores such as Cassandra, Bigtable, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude or Cursor is valued.
