Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to translate complex requirements into reliable solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for headcount planning and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of a global platform used by planners across HelloFresh markets.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve planning process efficiency and scalability.
- Work with large datasets to support planning and optimization use cases.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to uphold engineering best practices.
- Write unit, integration, and functional test cases using formalized testing methodologies.
- Take ownership of problems from discovery through implementation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with Python or other backend ecosystems, with a willingness to work primarily in Python.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including API design and writing maintainable code.
- Comfort with relational databases like PostgreSQL and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Background in event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and modern engineering tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI-powered tools to enhance software development workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with React or other modern frontend technologies is a plus.
