Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own customer-facing product features end to end across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and AI-powered workflows.
- Lead frontend implementation for complex products, including architecture, state management, application design, and performance.
- Improve the performance, maintainability, developer experience, and technical quality of the React application.
- Build reusable abstractions, components, and frameworks that help the engineering team move faster.
- Partner with product and design to turn ambiguous customer problems into elegant product experiences and iterate based on feedback.
- Evaluate, experiment with, and operationalize AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software.
- Strong full-stack skills spanning frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Deep frontend expertise with large React applications, architecture, performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- A track record of owning customer-facing features from idea through launch and a strong product mindset.
- Experience collaborating with product managers and designers to create polished user experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated bias toward ownership and shipping.
- Experience using AI coding agents in a daily development workflow.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, React, Storybook, and data visualization libraries such as Visx, D3, or Chart.js.
- Preferred experience improving frontend performance, application architecture, build systems, or developer experience at scale.
- Preferred experience with B2B SaaS, operational software, support tooling, or workflow-heavy products.
