Responsibilities
- Build net-new components from Figma review to coded implementation.
- Maintain and evolve existing components by auditing the library regularly.
- Ensure design-to-code fidelity by bridging Figma and code.
- Write clear and useful documentation for engineers.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance component development and testing.
- Collaborate with iOS and Android teams to support mobile components.
- Advocate for accessibility in component architecture.
- Support cross-team adoption of the design system.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of frontend, UX engineering, or design engineering experience.
- Strong design judgment to identify and refine design issues.
- Fluency in Storybook for documenting component libraries.
- Ability to maintain design-to-code fidelity across platforms.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- High proficiency in using AI tools in the development workflow.
- Strong written communication skills for effective documentation.
- Experience with prototyping and component testing.
