Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale cloud-native infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Implement Terraform infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, landing zones, account vending, and governance guardrails.
- Engineer hybrid and multi-cloud networking using AWS and GCP connectivity services.
- Operate Kubernetes platforms on EKS and GKE, including cluster lifecycle, networking, security hardening, and node management.
- Implement IAM, encryption, secrets management, audit logging, SAST, DAST, container scanning, and supply-chain security controls.
- Drive observability, reliability engineering, incident response, capacity planning, cost analysis, right-sizing, and FinOps practices.
- Build developer platform tooling such as internal portals, self-service infrastructure, and platform APIs.
- Set cloud engineering standards, lead technical reviews and proof-of-concept work, mentor engineers, and improve platform reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required, with a stated expectation of at least 12 years of AWS experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Advanced Terraform experience across AWS and GCP, including modular design, remote state, workspace strategy, and Sentinel or OPA policy-as-code.
- Deep expertise in EKS, GKE, hybrid connectivity, multi-cloud routing, DNS strategy, and network security.
- Experience with IAM, zero-trust principles, encryption, Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, GCP Secret Manager, and CSPM.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform Cloud, GitOps, pipeline security, and infrastructure deployment automation.
- High-level understanding of LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, RAG, vector databases, and LLMOps.
- Python or Go experience for automation scripting, cloud SDK usage, and platform tooling development.
- Experience with observability, SLO engineering, alerting, production incident ownership, structured RCA, and reliability engineering.
- Preferred experience includes Istio or Linkerd, Kafka, Spark, cloud-native analytics, CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure consulting in financial services.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or GCP DevOps Engineer.
