Base Salary
$175k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical delivery of Cape’s products into customer environments.
- Embed with customer teams to understand workflows and constraints.
- Configure and tune mobile core capabilities for specific missions.
- Lead customer exercises and provide direct technical support during operations.
- Write production-grade code for integrations and tooling.
- Prototype new product features and validate them in the field.
- Translate customer requirements into engineering tasks.
- Advocate for customer priorities with concrete evidence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to inform the roadmap.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a software engineering or forward deployed engineering role.
- Demonstrated technical competency across multiple domains.
- Strong ability to scope ambiguous problems and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High ownership and resourcefulness in delivering results.
- Ability to engage directly with customers to scope technical requirements.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.
- Based in Washington, DC or New York, with relocation to Asia-Pacific expected.
