Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production-grade voice, browser, document, and workflow agents for personal injury case operations.
- Design long-horizon agent systems involving context, tools, memory, permissions, structured outputs, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Create evaluation benchmarks from real cases and operator feedback to improve agent quality and task completion.
- Optimize agent performance through model selection, routing, context engineering, prompting, tool design, and observability.
- Improve agent reliability across calls, documents, communications, third-party portals, partial failures, and changing case information.
- Evaluate new agentic AI advances and rapidly ship improvements to quality, speed, or cost.
- Own critical product features end-to-end in collaboration with product, operations, and design.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building reliable, secure production software across the stack.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products or agents beyond the prototype stage.
- Experience designing practical evaluations, comparing approaches, and improving agent task-completion quality.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort with React, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of agent design, including context construction, model selection, tool boundaries, structured outputs, failure recovery, and human handoffs.
- Ability to turn ambiguous real-world workflows into simple, dependable systems and work experimentally using meaningful metrics.
- Preferred experience with Pydantic AI or another production agent framework.
- Preferred experience building voice agents, browser agents, long-running workflow agents, evaluation systems, agent observability, model routing, or human-in-the-loop review tools.
- Familiarity with Django, React, Temporal, Playwright, or AWS is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal technology, healthcare workflows, document processing, or other operationally complex domains is preferred.
