Responsibilities
- Formulate and drive the overarching technical architecture strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, engineering principles, and governance frameworks.
- Lead emerging-technology research, R&D initiatives, prototyping, and production adoption.
- Develop shared engineering skills, technical competencies, and best practices across cross-functional organizations.
- Establish continuous improvement programs for engineering performance, code quality, and system scalability.
- Oversee centralized internal libraries, common components, shared services, SDKs, and developer-facing platform tooling.
- Design and standardize deployment patterns, pipeline automation, and cloud-native operational architectures.
- Mentor engineering teams and bridge business and engineering priorities through stakeholder management.
Requirements
- Proven executive or senior-level architectural leadership experience in high-scale enterprise environments, preferably fintech or payments.
- Deep expertise in enterprise software design, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
- Experience establishing technology governance frameworks and engineering quality standards.
- Hands-on experience leading R&D, prototyping emerging technologies, and transitioning innovations into production.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering teams and improve collective technical capabilities.
- Extensive experience building reusable core libraries, SDKs, and developer-facing platform tooling.
- Mastery of modern deployment strategies, infrastructure-as-code, pipeline automation, and high-availability operational architectures.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and strategic visioning skills.
