Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end features from written requirements through design, implementation, review, and production.
- Develop across frontend, backend, and data layers, including database schemas and query performance.
- Use AI coding and testing tools and help incorporate appropriate AI capabilities into the product.
- Learn and document core product services while reducing concentrated system knowledge.
- Diagnose unfamiliar code and production behavior through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to automated testing strategy and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product, design discussions, cross-team partners, and users across multiple time zones.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues as technical skills develop.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience delivering production code in a modern programming language.
- Strong frontend or backend development experience with interest in becoming proficient in the other area.
- Experience integrating and consuming APIs in a cloud environment.
- Practical use of AI developer tooling and judgment about when it is effective.
- Specific evidence of quickly learning a skill and shipping what was learned.
