Base Salary
$65k - $87k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable enterprise-grade applications using Java and React for the IRS EDOS modernization program.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing and deployment.
- Build Java backend services using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Create responsive user interfaces with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop APIs connecting frontend and backend systems and support API documentation.
- Work with server-side technologies, AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
- Manage application development using Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with software teams and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of overall experience.
- US citizenship is required.
- Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE are required.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Java design patterns.
- Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Strong programming knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
- Experience translating graphic designs into responsive interfaces using HTML and CSS.
- Experience building APIs; Swagger documentation knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Java, Node.js, or Python; AWS; Docker; Kubernetes; EKS; and OpenShift.
- Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working on an Agile team and understanding of agile methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with technical and organizational stakeholders.
