Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver complex technical features end-to-end in Roblox Studio and the game engine.
- Establish foundational architecture and technical direction for expanding Studio capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality user functionality.
- Mentor engineers on technological best practices and strategies.
- Enhance product quality by fostering automation testing.
- Contribute to building a top-tier application for multiplayer game development.
Requirements
- At least 8+ years of experience with large scale systems in C++ codebases.
- Experience with multi-player game engines, focusing on scale, performance, and latency.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end features across multiple teams and platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with version control systems, 3D scene development tools, and file storage systems.
