Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day security threat management.
- Identify and manage potential security incidents.
- Support threat intelligence and incident response efforts.
- Drive continual improvement in security processes and automations.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response.
- Update stakeholders on security incidents.
- Develop new detection use cases and optimize existing ones.
- Collaborate with other teams on technical solutions.
- Research patterns in security events across the infrastructure.
- Design and lead threat hunting missions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant information security experience.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision needed.
- Strong Python scripting skills for security automation.
- Knowledge of networking and operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux).
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience managing or deploying security technology.
- Ability to build queries and dashboards for security monitoring.
- Knowledge of current threats and a desire to learn more.
- Experience with malware analysis, forensics, or penetration testing.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
