Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions using Java, Spring Framework, Cassandra, and Kafka.
- Build scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Framework.
- Participate in architectural discussions and provide implementation-focused input for scalable software systems.
- Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Support escalated application troubleshooting and contribute to technical specifications, nonfunctional specifications, and estimates.
- Develop and test software through code review, backlog refinement, sprint execution, and release readiness.
- Maintain code quality, unit testing, documentation, and operational supportability.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA testers, and other cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing and developing Spring-based Java services.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, Spring Data, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Experience with object-oriented development, microservices architecture, and applicable Java technologies.
- Experience understanding usability designs in user-facing applications.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional engineering environment.
