Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve Collector endpoint agents for millions of Windows and macOS devices.
- Develop reliable, high-performance modern C++ software close to the operating system.
- Own features end-to-end from product requirements through delivery, production rollout, observability, and measurable impact.
- Investigate complex OS-level issues across diverse customer environments.
- Improve the performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of the Collectors.
- Build tools that support the development process and navigate and debug complex code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Fluency in C++20/23.
- Strong, demonstrable understanding of operating system internals.
- Experience with OS-level software development and research on Windows and/or macOS.
- Proven ability to lead features end-to-end from product requirements to delivered solutions.
- Understanding of pure, lean, and well-testable code.
- Ability to navigate and debug complex code.
- Proficiency or hands-on experience with AI agentic coding tools.
- Product-oriented mindset, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and clear English communication.
- Experience in kernel-mode software development is preferred.
- Experience in cross-platform Windows and macOS development is preferred.
