Base Salary
$169k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build native cloud-based software for GRAIL’s Galleri® Test, my.grail.com, and provider.grail.com commercial offerings.
- Develop and lead multiple complex cross-functional and cross-organizational programs with significant resource requirements and risks.
- Drive improvements for the software engineering organization based on business needs and industry trends.
- Provide technical leadership through engineering standards, tools, and knowledge requirements.
- Guide and mentor team members while demonstrating innovation and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 8–12+ years of meaningful experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications and microservice ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, React, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, gRPC, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
- Experience developing distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience writing and executing test protocols.
- Passion for designing and building practical, high-quality software solutions.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with gRPC, Terraform, and AWS is a plus.

- The role is full-time and based in Sunnyvale, California, with Durham, North Carolina also potentially considered.
