Responsibilities
- Build full-stack web applications for simulation frameworks, digital twin validation, and V&V automation workflows.
- Develop Unreal Engine 5-based 3D visualization interfaces using real-time factory and manufacturing data.
- Partner with manufacturing engineers and factory operators to translate production workflows into software requirements.
- Write production-quality code, tests, and architectural designs while participating in code reviews.
- Build tooling to compare as-built geometry, assembly sequences, and quality measurements against engineering specifications.
- Integrate frontend and backend systems with simulation frameworks for factory co-simulation and what-if scenario testing.
- Develop automated V&V pipelines for integration testing, validation checks, and compliance verification.
- Deploy and operate systems in factory environments, including edge compute clusters and OT networks.
- Architect data pipelines connecting CAD models, PLM data, factory sensors, and simulation results.
- Build web interfaces for V&V dashboards, test management, requirements traceability, and validation reporting.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production factory systems.
- Integrate with MES, PLM, ERP, and enterprise systems in collaboration with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role building production systems.
- Deep expertise in full-stack web development across frontend and backend systems.
- Strong technical fluency in software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud or edge infrastructure.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with real-time 3D engines or advanced 3D visualization frameworks.
- Experience building reliable systems under operational constraints such as high availability, low latency, or constrained environments.
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics, rendering pipelines, and visualization of complex geometric or spatial data.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
- Preferred qualifications include manufacturing, industrial, OT, MES, SCADA, PLC integration, factory automation, IoT, digital twins, V&V, test automation, CAD/CAM, computational geometry, simulation, enterprise systems, real-time streaming, GraphQL, requirements traceability, and regulated-industry experience.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
