Responsibilities
- Develop and industrialize AI solutions for RAN-level troubleshooting and customer-to-design scalability.
- Own the design, implementation, integration, verification, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled software solutions.
- Build data ingestion, transformation, validation, quality-checking, metadata, and reusable pipeline capabilities for engineering data.
- Use logs, telemetry, test results, CI/CD results, trouble reports, and code review information to create AI-ready datasets and actionable insights.
- Integrate AI solutions into Git-based development, Gerrit/code review, continuous integration, automated testing, secure development, and vulnerability-management workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, architects, product owners, and R&D stakeholders on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Mentor colleagues, participate in design reviews, and help teams adopt AI-assisted development and data-driven practices responsibly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Approximately 6+ years of software development experience, preferably in telecommunications software.
- Experience with cloud-native or custom software using containers, Kubernetes, Python, Java, shell scripting, and Linux.
- Experience integrating AI/ML into software workflows, including AI-assisted development, automated testing, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and domain-specific model adaptation.
- Understanding of Git-based workflows, Gerrit/code review, automated verification, secure development, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management.
- Practical data engineering experience with ingestion, transformation, validation, data quality, metadata, traceability, access control, reliable pipelines, and operational monitoring.
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure AI solutions and turn prototypes into reusable software components.
- Experience contributing to technical direction and improving engineering practices across teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; familiarity with 5G NR, LTE RAN, or Cloud RAN is an asset.
