Responsibilities

Build, improve, maintain, and operate backend applications and production-grade systems using Ruby.
Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions across their full lifecycle.
Support order management, warehouse operations, store operations, and courier management systems.
Work with relational databases and implement unit and integration testing.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability, resilience, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Solution Architects on scalable technical solutions.
Partner with DevOps engineers on deployments, monitoring, and smooth system operations.
Address large-scale data processing, high-traffic systems, and complex business workflows.
Take ownership of improvements and share technical knowledge across the team.

At least 3 years of experience building backend applications with Ruby.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience contributing to production-grade systems.
Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and operating reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with automated unit and integration testing and production troubleshooting.
Ability to take ownership, drive improvements, and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for learning and teamwork.
Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a plus.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities is a plus.
