Responsibilities
- Build and own backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for a trading platform.
- Develop services handling trading processes including order issuance, validation, routing, execution, options pricing, and reconciliation.
- Solve complex scalability challenges while maintaining high performance, low latency, and fault tolerance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, system design, and delivery of large technical projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, multicultural colleagues, and U.S. customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go or Python.
- Background in trading markets or cryptocurrency, with fintech or trading experience considered a plus.
- Solid understanding of system design principles and experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
- Proven ability to deliver large technical projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong focus on code quality, thorough code reviews, and testing.
- B2+ English proficiency.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
- Experience with high-load systems, concurrent programming, and thread synchronization approaches is a plus.
